Lydia Heimlich Maternal Wellness

Holding space for your whole self in every stage of Parenthood

About Me

Hi, I’m Lydia: a mom, a therapist, and someone who’s passionate about making space for the real experiences of parenthood.

When I became a parent myself, everything I knew - personally and professionally - took on new depth. I saw just how isolating, overwhelming, and identity-shifting this transition can be, and how little support is actually in place for moms during this time. That’s what led me to focus my work on perinatal mental health, helping new and expecting parents feel more grounded, connected, and truly seen.

With a background as a therapist working with individuals and families, I bring both clinical insight and lived experience into the room. I’m here to support you through the messy, meaningful, in-between moments of becoming, and being, a parent.

Services

I offer two main pathways for support:

Coaching services through my private practice, and Psychotherapy through a local group practice. Both are grounded in empathy, lived experience, and evidence-based strategies — and are tailored to meet your needs.
